Founded in 1824, Fettercairn is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland. There are very irregular independent bottlings from this distillery, so it is always exciting to discover other "taste colours".
A very fresh, young whisky. First light notes of apples, oranges, fruit drops, ginger ale, some peat and astonishing maritime, salty notes on the nose.
Very fruity on the palate with light caramel notes and subtle bittersweetness, as well as a trace of peat.
